I have 2 new chains, both of which are a bit too short for the gearing I need to run. Could be returned... but its a load of hassle. This is Plan B. If anyone is planning on fitting a DID 530 chain of grade 1) DID 50 VX (standard Grey) or preferably 2) 530 ZVMX (gold)and they are proficient enough to cut chain without damaging the surrounding links/seals could they pm please. The cunning plan is to see if someone will order a chain longer than they require then send me the unrequired 10-12 links. This is due to no company being prepared/able to sell a shorter length of chain. I will cover the cost of the chain being longer naturally. ANd post. And a beer or two. Anyone? Joining the two together joins two different grades of chain, And still leaves me needing another length to use the second chain. Emergency bodge solution only this one.
