SamB
Bit unexpected this one. I managed to undo the bolts attaching the disc carrier to the wheel without stripping them but the carrier will not come off - it seems to be wedged on. On the usual you tube 'how to' vids the carrier just comes off easily. I'm a bit reluctant to apply mega force/hammer - any tips?
Boozybloke
Try heating it somehow? Or heating the bit it's attached to. Or lubricate and lots of wriggling to free it gradually. If no good, whack it with a hide mallet. Please note, I have no technical knowledge. This advice does not imply responsibility for the outcome of following said advice. Your home is at risk if you do not keep up repayments on any loan secured on it.
lorenzo
fuck loads of wd40, and leave it overnight. Apart from round the hub bit there's nothing holding it on other than corrosion, just let it soak through that and it'll be off in no time. You should probably clean it off afterwrads though...
