lewis203
I bought an 07 Z1000 for cheap but under about 20 mph when on the front brakes the front end sort of bobs up and down but there is no pulsing in the lever and the brakes appear normal and work well above 20mph. Does this sound like warped discs? Could it be anything else?

Alex_H
Possibly: high area's on the discs, could sand fuck out of em with garnet paper or fit some sintered pads to try and sort it, or maybe seized up/full of crap bobbins, in which case brake cleaner and tooth brush

Alex_H
Just so you know, it can happen when you've been riding then come to a junction and sit there with your front brake on. Makes hotspots on the discs and it's not ideal lol

Will try sanding them and see if that helps.

Otherwise if you can get the disc off the bell then you could try surface grinding, dunno if it'd work on a bike disc though!
gurninman
give the disc buttons a look-over and free them off if they're seized
