here is the problem...

first this is an xro factory race loom, and factory xro cdi and the carbs are tdrm's

when i turn the loom on,the cdi clicks,iv have found the problem,it is not finding the tps.if i jump the two wires(black and red) from the loom to the tps,(there are three),it stops,i can then un jump the wires and the cdi is ok.

i have checked the tps,it is showing 1 to 5 ohms as the throttle is opened to full

the loom is pumping out 4.5v to the tps, there are three feeds

red &. blue 4.5v and black. i think is the ground.

this is the injection set up , which i think will be close

red is vcc, 5 volts reference signal

blue is the vta the signal back to the ecu so it knows throttle angle

b/br is e2 which is the ground for the sensor inside the ecu

so why does it stop when i join the red and black,it should be the red and blue??

can any one tell me the problem.as its winding me up!!sad.gif

ohh....well been all over the loom and here is my assumption.....

the tps shows the right values 1v to 4.5v on throttle opening.

but still has the problem of the clicking on the cdi....cdi not finding the tps.

but i have traced the loom wires for the tps, they go to the cdi and the blue and black go to the rear spare plug aswell, which i think is part of the data log set up.as it is the blue and black wires.

but it the red and black also go to the front clock part of the loom to a 6 pin plug,so i think im missing a relay type part, which i think is part of the prestart check.

any xro loom gods out there please help.eusa_pray.gif
