Harry Muff Posted June 13, 2011 Report Share Posted June 13, 2011 Dear Bike Peeps. I've had this Yuasa Gold YTZ10s for my Blade for a while now. I also have two others which are identical Yuasa Red jobbies. I recently put all of them on the Optimate, and it said one of the red ones was on its way out but the gold one was tip top. When I put the gold one on though, it cranks really slowly at first and gets faster and faster while making the starter relay make weird noises before firing up. Riding the bike is fine though. However whenever I stop it and start it again, the starter does the same thing with getting faster and faster. It was pretty fucking hot when I took it off too. I've tried looking on it for CCA and stuff but it doesn't give any. Needless to say, it's not on the bike now and one of the red ones is in its place. I'm curious, though, what the fuck is up with a battery that barely cranks and then gets faster? Yours confused. H. Muff Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
