szrdave
My Falco has developed a bit of a rattle at certain RPM which sounds like the cam chain to me. I've tried listening while it's idling but it's pretty hard to hear whether it's the front or rear, especially over the noise of the cans! Any tips on how to narrow it down as the tensioners look to be pretty well buried?
bezzer
Age old method is stick the tip of a long screwdriver blade on the part/area you want to check and stick your ear on the handle to listen. Or spend £7 at Machine Mart on a mechanics stethoscope for a better quality listen-
