2Smoke Posted March 20, 2011 Report Share Posted March 20, 2011 Have been spannering for a friend this weekend, his r6 has the wp fork kit fitted to the std R6 outers. Anyone got any idea how to adjust the preload? Managed to work everything bar the preload, looks like the forks have the common adjuster but rotating it does nothing. bowman Posted March 28, 2011 Report Share Posted March 28, 2011 Hello mate, i've got the same internals fitted to my r1, The preload adjuster doesnt move up and down as on the standard forks, but still compresses the spring internaly. I set the sag and although the adjuster didnt go up or down the preload definately changed.
