hipringle Posted February 23, 2011 Report Share Posted February 23, 2011 its really doing my head in now, it was running but then had trouble starting it as I had a bad earth, fixed that but now theres no spark at the plugs. The fuel pump primes , it turns over but nowt there, I thought I might have fried the ecu with it having a bad battery earth but I changed it with no joy. I also changed the pick up coil, no joy. All the fuses seem ok, the wiring has been messed a little to short out the sidestand & clutch but because the pump primes when the engine kill switch is flicked Im assuming thats not an issue. hipringle Posted February 24, 2011 Author Report Share Posted February 24, 2011 kaighn80, thanks mate but this bike uses the coils in the plug caps, no earths so to speak of. Tim, I never gave the kill switch a seond thought as when its in the off position it doesnt let the starter turn over so I thought all was well there but Theres no harm in taking it apart later today when I,m finished work.
