Bernster
I can deliver, (if not too far away) - or send in the post if you can return it.
buster
Number 6 of these parts does 'em iirc. Otherwise Tony Archer is highly thought of and not too dear, http://www.tonyarcher.co.uk/gallery.html and a good ole Huddersfield boy. I bought some covering for mine (less than a tenner), borrowed a staple gun and my aunty married a guy named Robert Has it gone where it meets the tank, typical Bandit problem? Yes the usual bandit location chap. Nice one, cheers. I was going to order a kit off TheBay for less than a tenner which apparently is cut to size but was unsure if I would be capable of doing it. What sort of power does the staple gun need to be? As I have one, (not the stationary cupboard type) - and wondered if it would do the job. buster
I used this guy off ebay http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/SUZUKI-BANDIT-GSF-60...#ht_1682wt_1139 http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Heavy-Duty-Stainless...4#ht_1448wt_905 As for the staple gun, it was just a cheap metal none desk-top one (see link above), only thing is the length of staples, but I'm sure he quotes them in his instructions. It's not cut to size but not difficult, a bit of patience and in under an hour it looks like new.

Do you have to trim the material back after it's stapled in place? I might as well get some staples for this gun and give it a go.

Ian_H
Thanks that's great, I've ordered one. Send it back and get Tony Archer to do it. I had my Bandit seat reshaped to look like a Corbin, recovered with coloured piping and it still looks good after 5 years and hasn't split at the tank yet, only charged £40, probably a bit more now but worth it Only problem I've had is the small hole where I dropped a sodding screwdriver onto it

Willing to learn how to do sometihng myself the kit turned up but I noticed the instructions said to use "glue" rather than "staples". I've been out and got hold of some of the adhesive listed in the instructions, I'll give it a go this weekend. I've removed the old cover and you can see why the original Bandit seat's split around the fuel tank so have altered it so it hopefully won't happen again in the future.
