CMSMJ1
I used Northern Radiators in Bradford. They recored a knackered NC30 lower rad for the princely sum of £160 It was screwed ...and came out thus.
chrisexup
i slapped a bit of quick metal on the rad when it sprung a leak. it lasted for years until i retired it.
Mark/Foggy
If you've punctured a rail, most alloy welders should be able to help you out. If you cut into the tanks at the sides for access, you can get the offending rail welded up from the inside. Renders a newish rad water tight again, the cut outs get welded back in afterwards. You'll lose some efficiency of course. I've only realy had this done on big race rads, so not too much of an issue if you keep an eye on things. Brad the Rad at Bora is where they usualy get done for us, since he makes them in the first place.
