gurninman
You'd think the SRAD would be most expensive, seeing as they're mostly ridden by pikeys that crash a lot Those quotes are horrendous ! I pay around £150, but I *am* 41 and got 25-odd years claim-fre
szrdave
£150! Pffftt, bloody insurance! I spoke to a chap at Carole Nash, who was very helpful. Apparently it works out significantly cheaper to insure the bikes separately on different policies, even though I can only use my NCB on one policy But it means I can insure both bikes for £340 So I called the guy with the bike advertised on PH and he sounds very genuine. The 'bits and pieces' needed include the damage to the RHS and when he had the carbs replaced 4 years ago the heaters were left off, he's got someone coming to look at the bike tomorrow though and he's going to let me know if they take it or not. I've also placed a 'wanted' ad on ZX-9R.net, I think it's going to come down to a 9R or an SRAD with the budget I've got. Either would be awesome!!
