roastdinajima
I've replaced the knackered rear shock on my '00 zx6r track bike with a stock one from another bike, before i can set the sag/preload i need to get the rear ride height done this is easily adjustable but what should it be set at as standard? and where is it best to measure it from/to? Cheers
Gregorious77
easy to adjust there is an adjuster nut and locknut on the bottom of the shock. No idea what you would set it to for the track but I raised the rear on my 99 G2 5mm at the shock which gives about 25mm total I think. roastdinajima
Thanks but that tells me to raise it from standard to help turn in, but doesn't tell me what it should be set to as a standard to work from. How much thread should i have below the lock nut on the shock bracket where it bolts to the frame. edit to add photo
