zigzag
Hello folks, since the camshafts on my ´91 trackday RC36 are going to come out to be reprofiled (if poss) I am going to look into modifying the camdrive assy as I read about removing the "quietening" gears helps the engine spin up a little faster (-> generator will be removed, too for that purpose). My Haynes Manual reads "Don´t you even think of touching it, stupid!". It´s the two small gears on either side of the drive assemblies, isn´t it? Can they simply be removed by drilling out the "rivets" that fix them in there? Or is it bolted together so an easy removal is on the cards? Thoughts/experience on this matter are very welcome. Thanks in advance! zigzag
