geoffmm
Easy question chaps and ladies. I will be changing the rear sprocket on my R1 and assume that i should use some sort of thread sealant when re torquing the nuts back up, question is, Which is the best one to use? eddie
Loctite (or similar), threadlock or nutlock will do, just make sure the threads are clean (we use a solvent spray at work to clean the threads first) Paul

Evilchicken0
You need loctite BLUE. You should know that loctite red is permanant and so you'll end up breaking the studs when you try to take the nuts off next time. Ask Karla about it's use on a front wheel

sjbmotorcycles.co.uk
Any brand of threadlock will do but be carefully as loctite do a bearing compound n you'll never get it undone again think it's the yellow one go for the blue stuff
