andicog Posted November 24, 2008 Report Share Posted November 24, 2008 Wondered if any other 06/07 Zx10r owners have had any problems with the petrol tank going rusty? Mine started under the front mounting bracket and now around the rear mounting and side panel mounts and under the fuel cap , bike is garaged and never put away wet, only been rained on a few times. Mine is Raw Titanium colour (is not 2 years old ,only 8000 miles and has not been painted, dropped etc) . Luckily Kawasaki have replaced the tank and also my clock casings as they were steaming up, now just need the buzzing ignition switch sorting out . . . . . . .
