chancho196
A mate's R6 fell off its stand yesterday and now misses on number 3. He's changed the plugs, swapped coils etc. but my guess is something has somehow managed to block a pilot airway/jet while it's been over. How easy is it remove the carbs and are any special tools needed before I head over? Cheers folks. Any other suggestions from Yamaha gurus also welcome. gregtrx
Does the R6 have coil packs on the plugs? maybe one of these has come a bit loose.
chancho196
Yeah, coil per plug. All good and swapped around. Once access is allowed to the carbs, not much room unfortunately. Today he's tried a injector/carb cleaner in the tank and it's definitely helped. We shall see if it sorts it completely. Thanks for taking the time to reply guys.
