GS won't start

I'm changing it every 10-12,000 miles, which is working out at every 6 months so far. Maybe I'll change it for now to a 10w/40 then go back to 20w/50 in the summer when I service it again for the plugs, etc. S'not going to hurt, is it?

my cbr starts great most of the time, even in the cold, no choke or throttle.... just button... but since its became icy, I have to bump start it everyday.

That in mind, glad i dont own a tank GS :P

Fitted the battery tonight, but the leads don't reach the Odyssey-style terminals, which look like this:

Motorworks supply these:

ELA00007.jpg

Which I shall order tomorrow.

Arse!

Worthwhile cleaning the starter motor too. They can gum up and cause the starter to have difficulty turning the motor over. Easy job to do. Well, it is on the 1150 anyway. Think they use the same starter.
