Maybe I'll change it for now to a 10w/40 then go back to 20w/50 in the summer when I service it again for the plugs, etc. S'not going to hurt, is it? madmike Posted January 6, 2010 Report Share Posted January 6, 2010 my cbr starts great most of the time, even in the cold, no choke or throttle.... just button... but since its became icy, I have to bump start it everyday. Pussyhorse Posted January 11, 2010 Report Share Posted January 11, 2010 Worthwhile cleaning the starter motor too. They can gum up and cause the starter to have difficulty turning the motor over.
