buster
Advice needed oh PB massive. Looking at changing my chain and sprockets, thinking of going -1 front +2 rear adding a speedo healer to correct speedo reading, now the big question... ..is it worth doing a 520 conversion? originalracingsnake
Not for the road, no.
matt_the_blat
Two things whatever you do: 1. If it's for a road bike (and you want/expect it to last) don't bother with a Renthal Hard Anodised rear - the PB Massif discusses why. 2. B&C Express. fran9r
I rin a 520 on the 9 I cover few miles with. The chain is a very good make (EK), it does not run without lube, and the sprockets were changed at the time. Even without all those precautions I'd not have much or a worry. A 520 can take what a 1000 can throw at it easily, never mind a 600. If I covered mega miles I'd stick with the original spec, even if thats just to avoid chain adjusting every few days.
