As I have read on many occasions on this fine forum, are there any bolt in equivilents from a newer or better model to upgrade the shock at a fraction of the price? Farm Boy Posted September 8, 2009 Report Share Posted September 8, 2009 MCT will do a full service/rebuild and spec to your weight/ride style on your existing shock for less than the price of a replacement and you will know exactly what you have. Bickers Posted September 14, 2009 Author Report Share Posted September 14, 2009 Thanks for the advice, we have all bike engineering down here that have a great reputation, its just I can't have the bike off the road ideally as its my only mode of transport. lorenzo Posted September 14, 2009 Report Share Posted September 14, 2009 If you're anywhere near wandsworth then there's a great little place that specialises in suspension, and if you're booked in they can do your bike with very little down-time, just a couple of hours while you mooch about down at clapham junction or something.
