gook184 Posted September 2, 2009 Report Share Posted September 2, 2009 The bike started making a ticking noise from the front end. Apply the brakes and it stopped. A little investigation revealed wear in the caliper bodies. It's an old bike, 96 ZX6R F2 and I'm tight. My solution was to araldite a thin sliver of lorry curtain PVC to the leading edge of the brake pad to take up the slack. 5000 miles on and it's all ok.
